CHEF JOSÉ MENDÍN

José Mendín, born to culinary-minded parents, discovered his love for cooking while in college. After graduating from Johnson & Wales University, he assisted in opening Nobu Miami and Nobu London. Mendín gained valuable experience in Spain before co-opening Mosaico in Miami. He excelled as the chef de cuisine at Sushisamba Miami Beach and later expanded his culinary ventures with Mercadito Chicago and Mercadito Miami. In 2010, he founded Pubbelly Global and successfully expanded his restaurant portfolio internationally. José Mendín was a multi-James Beard Semi-Finalist Nominee.
